Hey! Well how are things going? it sounds like the Super Bowl would have been pretty cool to see. the only bummer is that the Steelers now have the most Super Bowls wins in history. it used to be tied between them and Dallas. but oh well....sounds like it was a good game. but my comp just got done with writing his parents already so i am going to try and wrap this up pretty quick. it sounds like a lot of things have been happening there lately. i cant believe that Heather and he family moved to Texas. did devin have a jod offer there or what? well i hope that all is going good. but i am very disappointed to hear that Kaya decided to drop seminary. she has no idea what she is doing, she is really going to regret it in the future. i am so gald that i finished seminary, one because if i hadnt i wouldnt be here. because to serve in brazil you have to have four years of religious study. but things here are going pretty well. yesterday we had one of our investigators tell us that she prayed two times and that the prayed two times to know if Joseph was really called to be a prophet of God and well she received the same answer two times that he trully is a prophet of God. so we are going to contine to work with her and see what we can do about her baptism. the teaching pool is actually pretty good. we have a lot of good investigators that are progressing and we are looking to have quite a few baptisms coming up. but we didnt have a baptism on sunday, the other companionship in our house had one. and that one went pretty well. but we also had transfers this week and my companion after 8 months in this area was finally transfered and is a district leader. and well i got quite an unexpected surprise yesterday as well. i am now companions with one of the assistants. so i have a pretty good opportunity to learn a lot from him in the next transfer or so and i am pretty excited to see how that goes. my comps name is Elder Lopes and he is a brazilian from São Paulo and he also used to be my Zone Leader and now he is my companion. but i am pretty excited for that. we are working with a few families that are progressing well and we are going to try and baptize a few people this month. i think about 4, that is our goal. but we will have to see what happens, because i dont make the decision for them. they have to decide to be baptized, but it is looking pretty good. but i love you and i got to get going. but i will hear from you next week. FALTA 14 MÊSES........i hit 10 months on the mission.....but who is counting. tell kaya i love her and i miss too. but tell him that i am disappointed in her.
Com Amor, Élder Jory B. Spotts
